Frequent followers may remember, I was interviewed and photographed by Swedish magazine journalists at Paul’s Junkyard, around New Years.  The story, in “Kamera & Bild” (Camera & Image) is now on newsstands all over Sweden.  Here is a link to a PDF of the entire article.   The sprawling 10-pager is unlike any past magazine piece about my photography, with pictures of me working, my (ghetto) equipment as well as some images shot that night.  I got the cover too!

Unfortunately for me, it’s written in Swedish!  I’ve pasted all the text into the google translator with some terrific results.  Looks like the title is “Lighting in Death’s Waiting Room.” Wow, heavy! Here are a few favorite quotes lifted straight from the translator:

“And here’s Ronald Reagan’s car!” (There’s a bulletproof limo that was Reagan’s at Paul’s) He opens the back door. “Keep in mind that he has sat here and farted. Or better yet: To Nancy Reagan has sat down and farted seat there next to him!”

Keepin’ it classy for the Swedes!
