Last night I scanned some pictures for a friend of mine, found in a box at his dad’s place. They dated back to just after the Korean War, where his pops served in 1954. I kept copies of these 2 favorites. The first is of Marilyn Monroe performing for the troops in January 1954. The second, a crashed F-84 Thunderjet. These photographs haven’t been seen by anyone in at least 40 years, let alone published anyplace.
