Lost America

Swank mint and pink bathroom with flamingo decor, in an unbelievably remote, scorpion-infested, mountain-top miners cabin.  The paintbrush in the sink is a nice touch too.  Those mountains outside are about 20 miles away.  Lime and white flashlight in a totally dark interior.

Stopped by my old pal Paul’s junkyard last full moon.  Stuff is constantly coming and going.  The most interesting new piece was this slightly modified ’71 Chrysler, made for a superhero movie. He tells me it never actually appeared on screen in the finished movie.  There’s 3 of them, one’s a convertible.  Red, white and blue flashlight, 123-seconds.

Hey, someone else named those mountains, not me.  But yeah, Gene Wilder sure liked that sheep, huh?  One of the abandoned Jackrabbit Shacks, east of 29 Palms, California.  Bounced white light inside, red from outside, and full moon for about 2 minutes.

Total loss RV, left in a turnout off of Interstate 15.  Camera less than a foot off the ground, in a charred pile of melted plastics and broken glass. Full moon, red flashlight, 3 minute exposure.
