Swank mint and pink bathroom with flamingo decor, in an unbelievably remote, scorpion-infested, mountain-top miners cabin. The paintbrush in the sink is a nice touch too. Those mountains outside are about 20 miles away. Lime and white flashlight in a totally dark interior.

Shotgunned Shack
Tin miner’s shed, in the wonderfully-named “Last Chance Canyon” in the Mojave Desert. 117 seconds at about 1AM, green and red flashlight with full moon.

Torture Me Elmo
Sometimes you gotta get off the freeway and look around, even if it doesn’t look like there’s anything there to shoot.

Sandy Footwells
The cockpit of the rocket-powered, convertible ’71 Chrysler New Yorker, movie-prop, at Paul’s Junkyard. The convertible’s notable because all the exterior body panels were removed, making it not particularly photogenic, from most angles. Red, white and purple flashlight, with underexposed full moon light too.

Mopar Afterburner
The business end of the convertible ’71 New Yorker movie-prop rocket-car. Red, white and purple flashlight, with 5-stop underexposed full moon light.

Home of the Round Thing
Under the hood of the convertible ’71 Chrysler New Yorker, movie-prop, rocket car. Red, purple and white light with underexposed full moon light.

Rocket New Yorker
Stopped by my old pal Paul’s junkyard last full moon. Stuff is constantly coming and going. The most interesting new piece was this slightly modified ’71 Chrysler, made for a superhero movie. He tells me it never actually appeared on screen in the finished movie. There’s 3 of them, one’s a convertible. Red, white and blue flashlight, 123-seconds.

The Sheep Holes
Hey, someone else named those mountains, not me. But yeah, Gene Wilder sure liked that sheep, huh? One of the abandoned Jackrabbit Shacks, east of 29 Palms, California. Bounced white light inside, red from outside, and full moon for about 2 minutes.

Burned Up On Re-Entry
Total loss RV, left in a turnout off of Interstate 15. Camera less than a foot off the ground, in a charred pile of melted plastics and broken glass. Full moon, red flashlight, 3 minute exposure.
