Cabover Faceplant

Kincaid is an old mining site in west-central Nevada, near Hawthorne.  Abandoned for many years, it was surprising to find that there are now people living there, working the mine again.  Luckily, the most interesting parts of the site are far enough from the trailers that the inhabitants never knew we were there.  It was a quiet, sneaky night.

Cabover Faceplant

Three stacked 4 minute exposures making for 12 minute star trails.  Purple-gelled LED from camera left onto the shady body and ground shadow.  The red interior was lit with red LED.  Some of it done by placing the light inside and turning it on for about 10 seconds. Some was lit from the far side, some from the hole in the floor for the shift lever.
