The Caper ::::: 3rd Gen Dodge Dart ::::: Big M
I didn’t show this image last night in the lecture, but talked to someone afterwards about this “bounce reflection” technique. Rather than lighting the front of this bent-up ’60s Dart directly, I lit the line of cars behind the camera. These lit cars appear in the Dodge’s chrome reflections. I snooted the headlights with purple to wake the car up, but I left the rest of the scene underexposed by 2+ stops.
