The Best Side of Boron

On the last night of October’s secret alumni workshop, I took the group on a field trip to the abandoned AFS/Prison at Boron.  A bit more tagged and mauled since last summer, but still highly shootable.  Free-range workshopping (ie: not inside a junkyard for the night) was a new experience for me, but everyone loved it.

146-seconds under the full moon with the fisheye.  Lit with a green and purple-set Protomachines flashlight.  Weirdly, this set up (and several others, before I noticed) was accidentally done with the lens set between f/8 and f/11, and it has funny haloing around the highlights at 100%.  Or maybe it was that big-greasy-Paiva-nose-print on the glass.  I’ll never really know, because it went away after fixing both problems!  Looks ok at this size, but I wouldn’t print it.  Too bad because I really liked this compo.
