With the disappearance of over 100 Chrysler Imperials at the “Imperial Acres” junkyard, I wanted to share this detail shot I made in there a year or two ago in tribute. The key is still in the trunk lock, ready to go. On the surface, the idea that they were all scrapped is inexplicable, but it’s a junkyard, so it’s not really too surprising.
