Those of you following me for a while know I like to post old night work around the new year. Being laid up and not shooting for the last 6 months, I’ve been posting a lot of old stuff anyway, so this week I’m gonna go deep. These were shot in October 1992 on California’s Route 66, between Victorville and Barstow. This long abandoned, hand-made gas station was torn down in 2007. These are approximately 8-minute exposures, on Kodak 160T chrome film, lit by the full moon, with a couple red-gelled strobe pops in the 2nd one.
