February 1999. Lockheed P2 Fire-Bombers receive off-season service at Minden Air in Tucson, Arizona. Probably about 8 minutes on Kodak 160T chrome film. Full moon, lots of local ambient light and a red strobe pop. I don’t think I’ve ever put this one online before.

Riki and I disturbed a whole herd of critters that now call this place home, and I ended up getting crapped on by a giant barn owl for ruining his hunt. Full moon, green, purple and warm white from the Protomachines flashlight.
The Ludlow Cafe
November 1990, along Route 66 in the SoCal desert. At the time, it was pretty intact inside, but gutted in ’93 when it was used as a set for the movie “Kalifornia.” About 8 minutes on Kodak 160T chrome film with Maglite flashlight on the sign and red-gelled strobe inside.
