This one’s for all the Scotts out there, you know who you are. I rolled out to Big M Auto Salvage last night. That’s a 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, and the one on the left, a rare 1958 Edsel Bermuda station wagon. They were in deep shade, ie: total darkness. The wagon was lit with a lime-gelled LED, parts of the Merc and ground with a red LED, and the logo with a natural LED. The finished image combines two exposures, 48 and 52 seconds, taking the best lit sections of each one.
Didn’t get home until 4AM (I managed to pound out 20 set ups and only got 2 spider bites), so I’m a little crispy today. And leaving for an Alcatraz night shoot shortly! Oh man am I sleeping in tomorrow.
