Spider Dodge, Spider Dodge, Does whatever a Spider Dodge Does

The spider bites are much worse now.  Several more seem to have surfaced.  All are deep red, swollen and hot.  Several have bright red nipple-like protuberances in the centers.  The ones on my hand are really painful and itchy.  It’s strange how they took 2 days to really get bad.  Hope they subside in the next few days.

The two junkyards in Williams are notorious for their huge spiders, which eat well from all the mosquitoes produced by the nearby rice paddies.  I tried to shoot them several times, but they’d retreat from the web as soon as I set up the camera and started shining lights on ’em.  Last shot of the night, I finally managed to capture one, strung up in the open trunk of a late 50’s Chrysler product.  One 1/4 power strobe pop.
