1969 Cadillac

Pretty sure it was after shooting this image in September 2010 that I lost my strobe flash in this walled section of the Pearsonville junkyard.  Must have left it sitting on a fender . . .  Before I had a chance to come back to teach another workshop and look for it, the yard was cleaned out and every car you see in this image was crushed . . . along with my Canon 430EX, apparently.

Ville Phantome

Night, full moon, red-gelled strobe from the left, through the creosote bush to cast a shadow down the side of the car and then a purple gelled strobe pop from camera right, to fill that shadow cast by the red pop.  The sky is a stack of three 4-minute exposures for 12-minute star trails.
