At the Watering Hole

At the Watering Hole ::::: 2001 Chevy Impala

In the rows of a late-model junkyard off of Highway 99 in California’s Central Valley.  Cold and muddy, dodging the rain.

This is about a 3 minute exposure.  It was a full moon, but the image is mainly lit by sodium vapor lights, reflecting off the low clouds.  Seems like most of the valley is bathed in SV light . . .  Red LED on the bucket seat from 2 sides, a couple of blue-gelled strobe pops in the interior.  Snooted natural LED on the rear brake drum and fender.  There’s also just a taste of blue-gelled flashlight ahead of the driver’s door, giving a sense that the interior lighting is leaking out–it’s not.  The slight blush of red light on the side of the Impala is from bouncing red LED off of another car directly behind the camera for about a minute.
