Old film image week continues with this shot from May 2000. Daggett is an old Route 66 town in Southern California, east of Barstow. This crumbling cement motel is lost in the no-man’s-land between the old highway and Interstate 40. Blowing creosote bushes blur in the window as semi’s endlessly stream past.
